Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has marked its 64th anniversary, celebrating its contributions to education, national development and humanity.
In a goodwill message marking the milestone on Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adamu Ahmed, expressed gratitude to the university’s alumni, staff, students, parents, guardians and other stakeholders for their continued support.

Professor Ahmed also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reforms and strategic interventions in the education sector, which he said had positively impacted the university.
