The Campaign Director-General of the Senator Ishaku Abbo Governorship Campaign Organisation, Hon. Abubakar Usman Damare, has declared that the Labour Party (LP) will dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 Adamawa governorship election, accusing the incumbent administration of failing to meet the expectations of the people.
Damare made the declaration on Saturday shortly after a unity meeting involving leaders and stakeholders of the Labour Party at the party secretariat in Yola, where members reaffirmed their commitment to work as a strong and indivisible force ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He said the party’s renewed cohesion would strengthen its grassroots mobilisation and electoral prospects, arguing that the APC-led government had failed to adequately address critical sectors such as healthcare, education and other social services.
