Some personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces have confirmed that the recently approved salary increase for junior military personnel has begun reflecting in their bank accounts.
The development follows the Federal Government’s approval of salary adjustments ranging from 30 to 80 per cent for military personnel under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

According to soldiers who confirmed this, that the new salaries started appearing in their accounts on Wednesday evening, with personnel from the rank of Private to Staff Sergeant reportedly receiving the full 80 per cent increase.
