A Facebook poll on political preferences among residents of Adamawa State has sparked fresh debate ahead of the 2027 governorship election, with former Senator Ishaku Abbo recording the highest number of votes among the names featured.
The poll, whose figures are being circulated online, reportedly placed Ishaku Abbo first, followed by Tijjani Galadima, Abdulrahman Haske, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came fourth.
The result has generated renewed discussion among political observers and social-media users over whether online engagement can provide a meaningful indication of political sentiment ahead of the election.
