The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced plans to hold a World Press Conference and National Stakeholders Meeting as preparations intensify for the 2027 General Election.
The event is scheduled for October 6, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja and will begin at 10:00 a.m.

According to the Commission, the meeting will mark the 100-day milestone to the first ballot of the 2027 general election and provide an opportunity to engage Nigerians and key stakeholders on the preparations for the polls.
