“Your Poor Sports Record as Governor Is Well Documented” — Presidency Hits Back at Obi Over Sports Investment Call

The Presidency has criticised former Anambra State governor and 2027 presidential candidate Peter Obi over his call for greater Federal Government investment in sports, urging him to account for his administration’s record on sports development in the state.

The response followed comments by Obi after he visited the Onikan Stadium in Lagos to watch a Nigerian Premier Football League match between Enugu Rangers and Ikorodu City.
