Fintiri Warns Parents as Adamawa Schools Reopen

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has warned parents against allowing children of school age to roam the streets, saying those found out of school without valid reasons would be traced to their parents for appropriate action.

Fintiri gave the warning on Tuesday when he received a delegation from the Catholic Church on a courtesy visit to the Government House in Yola.

The governor said the children would not be punished for being on the streets, but their parents would be held accountable in line with the state’s education law.
