Troops of the Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA (JTF NW OPFY), have rescued 10 abducted victims and foiled two separate abduction attempts in Zamfara State.
The operations, which took place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, were conducted in Maru and Tsafe Local Government Areas following reports of terrorist activities in the communities.
In a statement issued on Monday, the JTF Media Information Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja, said troops of Sector 2 rescued four victims during an operation in Kade Daba Village, Kanoma District, Maru Local Government Area.
