Hayab made the call on Saturday while addressing journalists at his residence in Kaduna on the state of the nation and Nigeria’s development trajectory as the country prepares to mark its 66th Independence Anniversary.
The cleric said Nigerians should begin to look beyond immediate consumption and consider investments capable of generating wealth over time.
He urged people who currently have limited economic opportunities to invest whatever they could afford, stressing that the benefits of such investments might not be immediate but could become significant in the future.
