The court also took judicial notice of information that the defendant, BIPC, was resorting to harassing the plaintiffs on the plots of land situated at Psychiatry Unit along Gboko Road, Makurdi.
Justice Odinya had earlier on 4th June, 2026 granted the plaintiffs an injunction restraining the defendants, BIPC and the Benue State Government, from tampering with the rights of the plaintiffs on their piece of land.
On Thursday, September 24, 2026, BIPC represented by Mr. Kosho Esq. approached the court to ask for an out-of-court settlement.
