The clerics were reportedly abducted after attending a special prayer session for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress.
The claim was made by conflict reporter, D English Alhaji, in a post on Facebook on Tuesday.
He said the six Sheikhs were abducted after attending the prayer session organised by the Director-General of the APC campaign and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari.
