Nigeria has recorded a major milestone in medical technology with the successful completion of what has been described as the country’s first tele-robotic surgery.
The groundbreaking procedure involved a surgeon operating remotely on a patient in Abuja from Mowe, Ogun State, using a robotic surgical system and real-time communication technology.
