The materials, comprising books and other learning aids, were distributed to pupils across schools in Garaha under the newly established Alice Kwahir Foundation, founded to immortalise the late Alice.
Speaking during the presentation, Barr Chafari who was represented by Irene Hanawa Shadrack said the gesture was borne out of her desire to keep the memory of her sister alive through education and to give back to her home community.

She described her late sister, Alice Shadrach, as a lover of education and children, noting that establishing a foundation in her name and reaching out to 900 children is a befitting way to preserve her legacy.
