The suspects were arrested during an operation conducted by troops of Sector 1, Sub-Sector 12, following the abduction and subsequent release of Mrs Juliana Goyang and an 11-year-old boy, Master Idumafa Amupitan, in Gwafan community, Jos North.
A report by security expert Zagazola Makama said the military operation commenced at about 5:40 a.m. on September 19, 2026, as troops intensified efforts to track down those allegedly responsible for the abduction.
According to security sources quoted by Zagazola.org, the troops raided suspected criminal hideouts around Shere, Gwafan and Maza Hills during the operation.
