Investigate Rep Bello El-Rufai’s Son Over Alleged Drug Use – Kaduna North Constituents tells NDLEA

Some constituents of Kaduna North Federal Constituency have petitioned the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to independently assess and investigate an allegation of cocaine use involving their representative in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai.

The petition, dated September 8, 2026, was signed on behalf of the constituents by Abubakar Hayatu of Kabala Ward and Musa Tukur of Unguwar Gaji Ward.

According to the petition addressed to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), the action followed a public allegation made on social media on August 29, 2026, by Bashir El-Rufai, who is the biological brother of the lawmaker.
