Military Airstrikes Kill Over 18 Terrorists, Destroy Logistics Hubs in Borno

Nigerian military airstrikes have killed more than 18 suspected terrorists and destroyed several terrorist structures and logistics hubs in Tumbunma Baba, within the Tumbuns general area of Borno State.

The operation was conducted by the Air Component of Joint Task Force North-East, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), in coordination with ground troops from Sector 1 of the operation.

According to the Acting Military Information Officer of Joint Task Force North-East, Captain Mohammed Goni, the strikes followed credible intelligence gathered over several weeks indicating the presence of high-profile terrorist elements at meeting points and logistics locations within the islands.
