Galadima launched his “Adamawa Rising Agenda”on at a news conference in Yola to officially kick off his 2027 campaign, saying the state must stop exporting raw commodities while other states and countries profit from processing them.
“We must change that economic structure,” he said. “Adamawa cannot continue to produce rice, maize, groundnut, cotton and livestock only for others to add value and take the profit. The factories, the jobs, and the wealth must stay here.”
Under the plan, the APC candidate said his administration would link farming communities directly to processing plants, storage facilities, packaging units, power and logistics within each zone.
