“We regret to inform the good people of Ugwolawo that our planned visit will no longer take place as earlier scheduled. This decision follows a directive from the Chairman of Ofu Local Government, who insisted that the palliative materials intended for direct distribution to the people be handed over to his office. This condition is not in line with our principles of transparency and direct community engagement, and as such, we are unable to proceed under these terms.”
