Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has expressed confidence that the state will support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, citing the President’s longstanding political relationships with the state’s leaders and his support for its political interests.
Radda made the declaration on Monday while receiving a delegation led by former Zamfara State Governor and Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, who visited Katsina as part of efforts to mobilise support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The delegation reportedly visited the Katsina and Daura emirates to engage traditional rulers and seek their support for the President’s second-term ambition.
