The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Borno State chapter, has urged the state government to establish worship centres for Christian students in government-owned tertiary institutions across the state.
The association also called on the government to provide additional Christian cemeteries and fence existing graveyards in the Dala and Maximum Prison areas of Maiduguri to improve burial facilities for Christian residents.
The CAN Secretary in Borno State, Senior Apostle Joshua Akeredolu Michael, made the appeals during a town hall meeting on the 2027 budget organised by the state Ministry of Budget in Maiduguri.
